USGS Reports a Magnitude 2.4 Earthquake in Northeast Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS -Several people in the area said they felt the ground shake, but no damage has been reported.
The USGS confirms that a 2.5 magnitude earthquake happened in parts of the Las Vegas Valley at 8:06 p.m. on Thursday.
The epicenter of the small quake was under the southwest corner of Craig Ranch Park, near the intersection of Craig and Commerce. It was located 11.5 km (7.1 miles) below the surface.
