NV Energy Advised Nevada Residents to Reduce Strain on the Western U.S. Electricity Infrastructure During the Holiday Weekend’s Heat Wave

NEVADA – The current heat wave in Nevada and the rest of the western United States is expected to boost demand for electricity and put stress on the region’s power grid. You may do your part to ease the strain on the power grid by cutting back on your energy consumption, especially between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m.
