A Suspect Has Been Accused in the Killing of a Man in Las Vegas in January

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (NV, Globe) – According to Metro Police, a suspect has been charged with the death of a man who was discovered dead in his vehicle from numerous gunshot wounds in January in Las Vegas.
Alonzo Brown, 19, was brought into the Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday for open murder after being detained on other charges. According to county records, he was first arrested for concealing a firearm without a permit.
At around 3:45 a.m. on Jan. 18, patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of East Tropicana Avenue. The man was discovered dead in his automobile and was declared dead at the spot. According to Metro Police, the suspect shot the man who is sitting in his car.
