Rosen’s small lead falls well within the margin of error and spells trouble for the first time Nevada senator

A recent poll conducted by Emerson College/KLAS-TV/The Hill shows Democratic incumbent Jacky Rosen is virtually tied with Republican Sam Brown in the race for U.S. Senate. Rosen’s lead is under two points: 39.6 percent to 38 percent. Nearly 22 percent of respondents said they were undecided.
Brown has positioned himself as the frontrunner in the GOP field and has earned the backing of the Republican Senatorial Committee.
Rosen’s small lead falls well within the margin of error and spells trouble for the first time Nevada senator.
With what is expected to be another expensive and competitive race, Rosen continues to champion her bipartisanship, although she maintains a 93 percent voting record with President Joe Biden. She, like Biden, has painted MAGA Republicans as extremists and, like Cortez-Masto, has centered her campaign on abortion rights.
The poll also shows Rosen leading by much wider margins if she goes against Republican candidates other than Brown. Yet, with over $10 million cash on hand, army veteran Brown is her top contender by raising $3 million with $1.76 million on hand.
Democratic donors from California, New York and Massachusetts have contributed close to $4 million to Rosen’s reelection campaign. According to FEC documents, out-of-state donors accounted for over 90 percent of the approximate $3.2 million Rosen raised in the last quarter of 2023, compared to less than 9 percent donated by Nevada residents.
Rosen’s support of Biden may also hurt her chances at reelection as a majority of poll respondents believe that the county is “on the wrong track,”disapprove of the job that President Joe Biden is doing, and would vote for Donald Trump over any Democratic contender in the November election.
“Nevadans are struggling to make ends meet — dealing with inflated energy and grocery prices caused by D.C.’s reckless spending. Meanwhile, our borders remain unsecured; our schools aren’t providing quality education to the next generation; and working families can’t afford to buy a home. Nevadans are looking to Sam Brown to restore the American Dream and end this American Nightmare caused by Joe Biden and Jacky Rosen,” said Faith Jones, Campaign Manager for Sam Brown for Nevada.
Brown will face the embattled incumbent if he wins the crowded GOP primary which includes Air Force Veteran Tony Grady, former Ambassador to Iceland Dr. Jeff Gunter, and former Assemblyman Jim Marchant.

if it wasn’t for out of state dollars Rosen would be broke.
I saw that poll however they only included Sam Brown, Jim Marchant and Jeff Gunter. They did not include civil rights attorney Ronda Kennedy. I filed and won in court many of the first COVID lawsuits including the case that forced the opening of gun stores deeming them essential. It makes you wonder if Republican leadership is really fighting for this seat. Rosen will eat Sam Browns lunch if he is the nominee. I on the other hand will stop the identity politics the DEMs like to play, they will have to campaign on the issues not BLM, women’s rights, Voter ID is racist ect. I call out the violence that happens in the black neighborhoods in Dem run cities, by not having voter ID disenfranchises the black vote . How I have already converted Las Vegas, Democrats to Republicans because they want to vote for me in the primary. Money won’t be an issue for the nominee , plus looking at the cost per vote conversion I have a voter group that will take less money to convert. So let’s ask that question again, who can really beat Jacky Rosen?
